Bio: Full-time starter the past two seasons after seeing extensive action with the first team during his freshman and sophomore campaigns. All-Conference selection as a senior.
Positive: Massive lineman most effective blocking for the run. Quickly sets up off the snap, immediately gets his hands into defenders and extends to keeps opponents away. Stays square, strong and turns opponents off the line or controls them once engaged in a block. Solid run blocker and moves defenders off the line.
Negative: Lumbers about the field and is not light his feet. Struggles to adjust and is not a natural knee bender.
Analysis: Bender was a solid lineman on the college level and has the size to play in the NFL. He's more of a developmental prospect who must improve his flexibility to have any chance of making an active roster.
