Bio: Part of the starting lineup the past two seasons after primarily paying special teams as a sophomore. Suffered a season ending knee injury four games into his senior season.
Positive: Hard-working small area right tackle with limited upside. Goes after assignments, blocks with good lean, and works until the whistle blows. Keeps his feet moving and controls defenders once engaged at the point.
Negative: More for an arm wrestler and does not correctly places hands into defenders. Not light on his feet and looks unathletic at times.
Analysis: Ellis has the size to play the next level yet has been an average college tackle who really never took his game to another level.
