Fred Munzenmaier

School: Georgia
Position: FB
Bio: Reserve lead blocker the past two seasons rarely used in the offensive game plan. Senior rushing totals included 16/25 with 10/67/1 as a receiver. Junior rushing totals included 10/36/2.
Positive: Hardworking lead blocker who does the little things well. Plays with good knee bend, breaks down well, and shows terrific vision and instincts. Gives effort blocking, strong at the point, and turns defenders from the action. Anchors in pass protection. Has good quickness and immediately gets out of the backfield into pass routes. Adequate receiver who nicely adjusts to the errant throw and extends to make the reception away from his frame.
Negative: Possesses minimal speed. Marginally effective carrying the ball. Struggles turning the corner to create space for ball carriers.
Analysis: Munzenmaier was the number two fullback at Georgia but is a legitimate NFL prospect who was overshadowed due to the circumstances. He possesses the size, strength, and instincts to make a roster for a team that keeps two lead blockers.
