Lawrence Guy

School: Arizona State
Position: DT
Bio: Three-year starter who posted 41/6/1.5 as a senior after putting up 37/7/4.5 the prior year. Posted career-best numbers of 44/10/2 as a freshman.
Positive: Hardworking and fairly athletic lineman defensive lineman who can be used in a variety of spots up front. Plays with good quickness, keeps his feet driving up the field, and occupies blockers on the line of scrimmage. Plays with good pad level, very quick with his hands, and shows explosiveness. Fluid changing direction, constantly doubled in the middle of the action, and shows the ability to hold his ground.
Negative: Slow shedding blocks once engaged at the point. Not a dominant lineman who collapses the pocket. Watched his game level off after an outstanding freshman season.
Analysis: Guy has shown ability the past three years who could be used on the inside of a four-man line or placed as a two-gap end in a 3-4 alignment. He offers good upside and the ability to eventually start in the NFL.
