Bio: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference honors after his junior and senior seasons. Had 56/6/13 as a senior and 55/5/11 as a junior.
Positive: Athletic cornerback with a tremendous amount of upside. Fluid peddling in reverse, easily runs downfield with opponents, and has quarterbacks throwing away from him. Plays with physicality and breaks well to the ball.
Negative: Struggles getting off blocks to make his way up the field and is not consistent in his backpedal.
Analysis: Jones possesses the physical skills to play at the next level and has shown a lot of ability to past two years. He's a developmental prospect worth taking in the late rounds and is someone who can play in dime packages or on special teams early in his NFL career.
