Ryan Hill

School: Miami-Fl
Position: CB
Bio: Former receiver who moved to the defensive backfield as a junior. Started 11 games last season and finished with 51/3/8.
Positive: Underrated cover corner still learning the position. Jams opponents at the line of scrimmage, quick flipping his hips in transition, and physical with receivers throughout the route. Plays with explosiveness and has a closing burst. Fights hard throughout the action, works well with safeties, and shows the ability to drive to the action out of his plant.
Negative: Very quick out of his backpedal. Does not take correct angles to the action. Overmatched at times.
Analysis: Hill is a developing cornerback who does not back down to a challenge and showed a lot of skill in 2010. He's a dime back/special teams player who should get consideration in the late rounds.
