Rod Issac

School: Middle Tennessee
Position: CB
Bio: All-Conference selection as a senior after posting numbers of 54/3/6. Part-time starter the prior two years, totaling 32/1/2 as a junior and 31/1/3 as a sophomore. Member of the Middle Tennessee track team.
Positive: Big, athletic cornerback with good upside. Jams opponents at the line of scrimmage, fluid peddling in reverse, and remains physical with opponents throughout routes. Effectively gets his head back around and locates the pass in the air. Voluntarily defends the run and wraps up tackling.
Negative: Struggles following receivers out of routes. Does not show a good sense of timing.
Analysis: Isaac was a solid college cornerback who showed improvement as a senior. He offers size, has the ability to get better in time, and will get consideration as a ninth defensive back for an NFL roster.
