Bio: Posted 38 tackles and broke up six passes as a senior, when he broke into the starting lineup on a full-time basis. Started five games as a junior and registered 55 tackles while breaking up four passes. Started six games as a sophomore in 2008, finishing the year with 52/2/10.
Positive: Smallish but tough defensive back who plays with good quickness. Physical, fights throughout theroute, and quickly comes up the field to defend running plays and screens. Possesses a terrific burst of closing speed, flashes on the scene, and can recover from mistakes. Effective in zone coverage facing the action.
Negative: Often mismatched against bigger receivers. Will bite on receivers' moves and reacts late. Slow transitioning off the line.
Analysis: Broadway has displayed improvement in his game the past two seasons, and his speed is enticing. He could find a home as a dime back and he would help his cause by becoming a return man.
