Positive: Nice-sized cornerback who never elevated his game on the college level. Chases the action hard, gives effort, and is a reliable tackler. Displays a nice burst to the ball out of his plant. Consistently positions himself to make plays.
Negative: Does not show good route recognition in zone. Has only average speed.
Analysis: Eugene has shown flashes of ability throughout his college career yet never elevated his game or took hold of the starting position at LSU. He could make it as an inexpensive dime back in the NFL if he proves his worth on special teams.
