Bio: Three-year starter who tallied 41/3/4 as a senior and 63/1/5 as a junior.
Positive: Big cornerback who's displayed the ability to shut down opponents throughout his college career. Jams opponents at the line of scrimmage, aggressive throughout the route, and fights hard to defend passes. Loses nothing transitioning to run with opponents, shows a terrific burst out of his plant, and has opponents throwing away from him. Can stay on the receivers' hip out of their breaks and plays with a explosiveness.
Negative: Must improve the consistency of his backpedal. Seems to get lost in zone coverage.
Analysis: Walls displayed the underlying skills to be a top cornerback prospect throughout his college career. He must fine-tune the details of his game, but he is a prospect who could see significant action in nickel packages as a rookie in the NFL.
