Chris Harris

School: Kansas
Position: CB
Bio: Full-time starter the past two seasons after seeing extensive action with the first team as a sophomore. Senior totals included 82 tackles. Junior numbers included 84 tackles with nine passes broken up.
Positive: Adequately sized cornerback who plays an aggressive brand of football. Fluid turning his hips transitioning off the line, displays the ability to drive to the ball out of his plant, and has a closing burst of speed. Uses his hands to get off blocks, quick up the field quickly, and aggressively defends the run. Works hard to defend throws.
Negative: Slow pedaling in reverse and possesses poor footwork. Gives up a lot underneath receptions. Lacks great closing and recovery speed.
Analysis: Harris lacks great athletic skills for the next level yet could be used as a dime back in a zone system. He plays with a special teams mentality, which will also help his cause at the next level.
