Positive: Aggressive defensive back who took his game to another level last season. Displays both quickness and explosiveness off the line, effectively diagnoses the play, and breaks on the ball well. Fluid in his hips. Shows good awareness. Has a burst of speed. Aggressively puts his shoulders into opponents and is physical defending the run.
Negative: Prefers to side shuffle down the field rather than backpedal. Does not have the speed to play in man coverage.
Analysis: McGee was a talented college cornerback who will be limited at the next level by poor speed. He could be effective in a zone system that has him facing the action and reduces his area responsibilities.
