Richard Goodman

School: Florida State
Position: WR
Bio: Senior totals included 27/355/1, when he was slowed returning from the broken fibula that sidelined him in 2008. The junior totals of 2007 included 20/184/2.
Positive: Fluid pass catcher with natural receiving skills who has been shelved with injury for much of the past three seasons. Comes back to the ball out of breaks to make himself an available target, and effectively extends to catch the pass away from his frame. Quickly releases off the line into pass routes and cells breaks.
Negative: Marginally productive in college and never met expectations in large part because of his injuries. One-speed receiver who will not stretch the field vertically.
Analysis: Goodman has been highly thought of in the scouting community, which expected him to raise the level of his game since the 2007 season. Comes with medical red flags. He will have a chance this summer to establish himself as fifth receiver at the next level.
