Eyad Salem

School: Illinois State
Position: WR
Bio: Two-year starter and All-Conference selection as a senior after leading the team in receptions posting 92/943/6. Junior totals included 63/843/8.
Positive: Quick, elusive receiver who offers potential lined up in the slot. Plays with good body control, effectively uses the sidelines and comes back to the ball to make himself an available target. He consistently finds an opening on the field, is fluid in all his movements, and effectively makes the reception in stride. Displays soft hands and effective when he extends to make the reception away from his frame.
Negative: He unnecessarily lets the pass get inside him at times and is a one-speed receiver who will not beat defenders down the field.
Analysis: Salem has watched his game take off the past two years yet offers just average size/speed numbers for the next level. He could be a solid fit for a timing or West Coast offense which asks him to run underneath routes.
