Duke Calhoun

School: Memphis
Position: WR
Bio: All-Conference selection as a senior after posting career numbers of 68/923/5. Junior totals included 40/487/3. Initially broke into the starting lineup as a sophomore and posted 62/890/5.
Positive: Sure-handed receiver with average size. Displays soft hands, extends to make the reception away from his frame, and looks the ball in. Nicely adjusts to the errant throw, reaching back and extending to make the reception away from his frame, or getting down to scoop up the low pass. Effectively uses the sidelines, keeps the play in bounds running after the catch, and works to pick up as much yardage as possible. Comes back to the ball out of breaks, works to get separation, and exposes himself in a crowd for the difficult reception.
Negative: Shows minimal burst in his game and does not possess downfield speed. Struggles coming away with the ball in a crowd.
Analysis: Calhoun has been very productive the past four seasons at Memphis, and he could find a home on an NFL roster is the fifth receiver.
