Brandon McRae

School: Mississippi State
Position: WR
Bio: Two-year starter who totaled a disappointing 14/116 as a senior, while recovering from a broken leg suffered in late 2008. Junior totals of 51/518/3.
Positive: Nice-sized possession receiver coming off a disappointing campaign. Adequate route runner who displays sharpness into routes into breaks and stays low on exit. Extends his hands to make the reception away from his frame and adjusts to the errant pass. Comes back to the ball out of breaks and offers the cornerback a nice target.
Negative: Drops some very catchable throws and does not come away with the difficult reception. Lacks strong hands and the ability to come away to pluck the fastball from the air.
Analysis: After elevating his game as a junior, McRae struggled to return from his broken leg last season. He must check out medically and quickly produce in camp this summer to ever make it out of camp
