Vince Vance

School: Georgia
Position: T
Bio: Part-time starter the past two years at both guard and tackle.
Positive: Massive offensive lineman who has flashed ability the past two years. Quickly sets in pass protection, displays adequate footwork sliding out off the edge, and keeps his feet moving throughout the action. Stays square, immediately gets his hands into defenders. Jolts opponents with good hand punch, strong at the point, and anchors in pass protection.
Negative: Lumbers about the field and struggles to adjust. Lacks blocking balance and on the ground too much. Must make better use of angles.
Analysis: Vance looks the part and is an above-average athlete for such a large blocker. He never grabbed hold of a starting position at Georgia and is very much an unfinished product. Vance offers a good degree of upside and could be kept on a practice squad as a long-term project.
