Mike Tepper

School: California
Position: T
Bio: Two-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior. Missed the entire 2008 season with a pectoral injury and sat on the sidelines in 2005 with a broken right fibula. Has played both the left and right tackle positions.
Positive: Strong, small area blocker who works hard. Stays square, displays ability as a position blocker and seals defenders from the action. Very good with his hands, stout at the point and keeps his feet moving throughout the action. Works well with linemates and displays good awareness. Jolts opponents with good hand punch.
Negative: Lacks top footwork and struggles against edge rushers. Stiff, cannot adjust and lack of agility prevents him from finishing blocks.
Analysis: Tepper has overcome several injuries to produce on the college level. He's a polished football player with good size yet prospect with athletic limitations. The ability to play several positions on the offensive line could help him hold down a roster spot this season.
