Positive: Fundamentally sound offensive lineman who plays with a nice degree of athleticism. Bends his knees, blocks with a wide base, and quickly sets up in pass protection. Gets leverage on opponents, quickly gets off the line, and is a solid position blocker who seals opponents from plays. Keeps his feet moving, adjusts to the oncoming defenders, and pushes defenders from their angle of attack.
Negative: Haphazard in his movement and lacks balance. Marginally strong at the point of attack and struggles to control defenders.

Will Barker
School: Virginia
Position: T
Bio: Four-year starter at right tackle.
Positive: King-sized position blocker best in a small area. Blocks with good lean, a wide base, and stays square. Patient in pass protection, effectively gets his hands into defenders, and easily moves them from their angle of attack. Makes good use of angles, displays solid awareness, and keeps his feet moving. Controls defenders once engaged in a block and rarely gives up an inch.
Negative: Exploited by speed rushers, struggles with his footwork and cannot slide off the edge. Rumbles about the field and ineffective in motion. Gets lazy with his hands and will do a bit of leaning on opponents.
Analysis: Barker has been a durable lineman at Virginia and possesses the size to play at the next level. He's a limited athlete with marginal upside yet could be an effective backup on the strong side if he improves his strength and learns to consistently block with proper fundamentals.

Keeps his head on a swivel, picks up blitzes thrown by the opposition, and displays good awareness. Jolts defenders with good hand punch and then knocks them from their angle of attack. Blocks with leverage, keeping his knees bent throughout the action.
Negative: Lacks balance, falls off blocks, and struggles to finish. Haphazard in his movements. Does not correctly places hands into opponents.
Analysis: Black has been a celebrated player on the college level, yet he lacks the size to stay at left tackle in the NFL, and really does not have the strength to be used at guard. He would be best in a zone-blocking system, yet he must improve his playing balance.

Shows a nice degree of competitiveness in his game.
Negative: Must improve his overall will blocking strength. Falls off blocks and lacks balance. Does not possess natural bulk and gets pushed back off the line by large defenders.
Analysis: Campbell was primarily a reserve his first three seasons at Eastern Illinois then really broke out last season and moves forward as a terrific developmental prospect. Negative: Not a dominant drive-blocking lineman. Never started a complete season at Maryland. Does not always play up to his level of ability.
Analysis: Campbell is a tremendous athlete developing into a very good football player. He made major strides in his game over the past two seasons and offers incredible potential moving forward. Campbell must fill out his frame and get stronger, yet he is already a terrific pass protector who should only improve as a run blocker in time. Easily adjusts to pick up stunts or twists, moves well on his feet and effective blocking in motion.
Negative: Shows minimal power and must improve his overall body strength. Must develop more of a nasty streak in his blocking. He has been a bit inconsistent the past year.
Analysis: Since moving to offensive tackle, Capers has slowly developed into a legitimate prospect at the position. Analysis: Davis burst onto the scene as a true freshman and has been a top-rated left tackle prospect ever since. He possesses the physical skills and footwork necessary to quickly break into a starting lineup at the next level and has the potential to be a top blind-side protector for years to come. Negative: Lacks balance and does not always show good wherewithal on the field. Needs to develop a nasty attitude and must work harder to finish run blocks
Analysis: Ducasse stood out to NFL decision-makers as a sophomore and has progressively gotten better on the field. He possesses the physical skills and mechanics to hold down a starting left tackle job in the NFL. Bio: Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior. Saw action with the first team at right guard than left tackle.
Positive: Large, strong offensive lineman best in a small area. Blocks with good lean, gets his hands into defenders and controls them at the point of attack. Quickly sets in pass protection, keeps his feet moving, and is a solid position blocker who seals defenders from the action. Large enough to engulf defenders. Strong in his upper body and displays good punch. Good initial movement at the point of attack as a run blocker.
Negative: Lacks footwork sliding out to protect the edge, and beaten by quick or nimble opponents. Marginally explosive into blocks. Not a natural knee bender. Shows stiffness in his game.
Analysis: Scott has been a solid college tackle on the left side the past two seasons, but he really projects better on the strong side or even inside at guard. His size is enticing, and Scott has all the potential to make it as an inexpensive backup.

Matt Stommes
School: Minnesota
Position: T
Bio: Former defensive tackle who moved to the offensive line as a junior then became a full-time starter last year.
Positive: Tall, relatively athletic blocker still learning the position. Sized well, fires off the snap into blocks and gets his hands into defenders. Stays square, strong at the point, and large enough to engulf opponents or seal them from the action with body positioning.
Negative: Ineffective in space and struggles picking up stunts or blitzes. Lacks footwork sliding out to protect the edge.
Analysis: Stomm is a size prospect with better-than-average measurables yet a long-term developmental lineman who needs a lot of work on his game.

Nick Stringer
School: Kansas State
Position: T
Bio: Two-year starter used at both left and right tackle.
Positive: Nice-sized blocker best in a small area. Strong at the point of attack, turns linemen off the ball run blocking, and keeps his feet moving on contact. Quickly gets his hands into defenders and jolts them at the point of attack. Stays square and works hard until the whistle blows.
Negative: Struggles sliding laterally and displays poor footwork in pass protection. Not a consistent knee bender. Cannot adjust.
Analysis: Stringer is a size prospect yet a limited athlete with marginal upside. He possesses growth potential, which could help him find a home as a backup strong-side blocker at the next level.

Mike Tepper
School: California
Position: T
Bio: Two-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior. Missed the entire 2008 season with a pectoral injury and sat on the sidelines in 2005 with a broken right fibula. Has played both the left and right tackle positions.
Positive: Strong, small area blocker who works hard. Stays square, displays ability as a position blocker and seals defenders from the action. Very good with his hands, stout at the point and keeps his feet moving throughout the action. Works well with linemates and displays good awareness. Jolts opponents with good hand punch.
Negative: Lacks top footwork and struggles against edge rushers. Stiff, cannot adjust and lack of agility prevents him from finishing blocks.
Analysis: Tepper has overcome several injuries to produce on the college level. He's a polished football player with good size yet prospect with athletic limitations. The ability to play several positions on the offensive line could help him hold down a roster spot this season.

Devin Tyler
School: Temple
Position: T
Bio: Four-year starter at left tackle awarded All-Conference honors as a senior.
Positive: King-sized blocker who displays ability in pass protection. Quick off the snap, stays square, and makes good use of body positioning. Keeps his feet moving throughout the action, adjusts to defenders, and jolts opponents with good hand punch. Moves well on his feet and displays skill blocking in motion. Easily turns defenders off the ball and controls on once engaged in a block.
Negative: Must improve the strength of his base and learn to finish blocks. Shows average awareness and seems to get lost on the field.
Analysis: Tyler is a size prospect and a developmental player with a high upside. He should only improve as he physically matures and gets stronger. The ability to block on the move will make him and enticing player in camp this summer.

Adam Ulatoski
School: Texas
Position: T
Bio: Four-year starter experienced at left and right tackle. Awarded varying degrees of All-Conference and All-American honors since his freshman season.
Positive: Hard-working college tackle with limited upside potential. Keeps his feet moving throughout the action, quickly gets his hands up and controls defenders once engaged the point of attack. Anchors in pass protection, seals opponents from plays with good body positioning, and large enough to engulf defenders. Effectively uses blocking angles and fundamentally sound.
Negative: Lumbering lineman who displays no skill in motion. Cannot redirect to hit a moving target, lacks footwork sliding laterally, and struggles to adjust to oncoming blitzes. Exploited by speed rushers.
Analysis: Ulatoski was very productive for Texas, holding down starting the duties at both tackle positions, yet is a poor athlete and will struggle to find a home as a starter in the NFL. His size is enticing, as is his experience and durability, and all three could help him secure a spot as a backup.

Vince Vance
School: Georgia
Position: T
Bio: Part-time starter the past two years at both guard and tackle.
Positive: Massive offensive lineman who has flashed ability the past two years. Quickly sets in pass protection, displays adequate footwork sliding out off the edge, and keeps his feet moving throughout the action. Stays square, immediately gets his hands into defenders. Jolts opponents with good hand punch, strong at the point, and anchors in pass protection.
Negative: Lumbers about the field and struggles to adjust. Lacks blocking balance and on the ground too much. Must make better use of angles.
Analysis: Vance looks the part and is an above-average athlete for such a large blocker. He never grabbed hold of a starting position at Georgia and is very much an unfinished product. Vance offers a good degree of upside and could be kept on a practice squad as a long-term project.

Jared Veldheer
School: Hillsdale
Position: T
Bio: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign.
Positive: King-sized, athletic offensive tackle prospect with great upside. Naturally strong, easily controls opponents once engaged at the point of attack, or blocks down on defenders and smothers them from the action. Keeps his head on a swivel, works well with teammates, and displays above-average awareness. Stays disciplined with assignments, effectively adjusts to oncoming defenders, and gets a hand on opponents to knock them from their angle of attack. Fires off the ball into blocks and uses his large frame to seal defenders from the action.
Negative: Narrow based blocker and does not get a lot of movement run blocking. He must improve the consistency of his mechanics. Not effective far off the line of scrimmage or in motion.
Analysis: Veldheer is a prospect with tremendous upside and an offensive lineman who could eventually start in the NFL. He's very rough around the edges, and more than anything else, needs to show consistency in the details of his game. He size and athleticism are enticing and could have a team over-drafting him.

Ed Wang
School: Virginia Tech
Position: T
Bio: Former tight end who moved into the starting lineup as a junior and was awarded All-Conference honors last season.
Positive: Athletic week-side line prospect who showed steady development the past two years. Bends his knees, keeps his feet moving throughout the action, and makes good use of body positioning, sealing defenders from the play. Displays good jolt at the point of attack, solid quickness in his all-around game, and controls opponents once engaged at the point. Stays square, makes good use of blocking angles, and displays the ability to slide laterally. Blocks with a nasty attitude, working to hit as many defenders as possible off a single snap. Moves well on his feet and displays the ability to get the second level and take out linebackers.
Negative: Not a natural knee bender. Bends at the waist. Struggles to finish blocks on running downs.
Analysis: Wang did a terrific job at the left tackle position for Virginia Tech the past two seasons and is a prospect with a nice degree of upside. He offers potential at left tackle or inside at guard, and he should only improve as he continues to receive more playing time at the position.

Tony Washington
School: Abilene Christian
Position: T
Bio: Junior college transfer awarded All-Conference and all-American honors the past two seasons.
Positive: Physically gifted tackle prospect with a large degree of upside. Blocks with terrific fundamentals, plays with good pad level, and explosive at the point. Moves well about the field, effective sliding out to protect the edge in pass protection and also quick out to the second level. Plays with great balance and body control. Easily adjusts the oncoming defenders, can hit a moving target and displays good punch with his hands, knocking opponents from their angle of attack. Drives defenders off the ball run blocking, and plays with a nasty attitude. Fluid moving in all directions of the field.
Negative: Stands to improve the strength of his base. Played better as a junior than he did his senior year. Has some major off-the-field issues that may keep teams from drafting him.
Analysis: Washington is a gifted athlete with terrific size, pass blocking feet and run blocking skills. He's been a terrific player on a small school level the past two years and has the tools to eventually start in the NFL. Character concerns and off the field issues may ultimately keep Washington from ever achieving any of this.

Thomas Welch
School: Vanderbilt
Position: T
Bio: Two-year starter experienced at both left and right tackle.
Positive: Tall, patient blocker best in a small area. Stays square, jolts defenders at the point of attack, and most effective as a position blocker. Works to bend his knees, sets with a wide base, and flashes power. Makes effective use of blocking angles, and works until the whistle blows.
Negative: Over-extends into blocks and lacks balance. Does not possess a dominant base and struggles to finish blocks. Gets lazy with his hands. Marginal footwork sliding in pass protection.
Analysis: Walsh has next-level size and has flashed skill the past two seasons. He's best off on the right side, and he can make it at the next level if he adds bulk and strength to his frame and then learns to finish blocks.

Trent Williams
School: Oklahoma
Position: T
Bio: Three-year starter experienced at both left and right tackle. All-Conference selection the past two years and named to several All-American teams as a senior.
Positive: Well-sized athletic blocker with possibilities at several positions on the offensive line. Fluid moving on his feet, jolts opponents at the point of attack, and displays above-average strength. Stays square, easily adjusts to oncoming defenders and blocks with leverage. Effective in motion, gets out to the second level and easily redirects to linebackers to hit a moving target. Patient in pass protection, flashes power run blocking, and turns defenders off the line.
Negative: Does not display a nasty attitude as a blocker. Lacks balance, wiffs on blocks and struggles to get positioning on defenders. Slow recognizing the blitz.
Analysis: Williams is one of the most physically talented offensive linemen to come from the Oklahoma program in a long time. He's displayed flashes the past three years yet lacks a complete game and needs time to smooth out his rough edges. Williams offers a large amount of upside potential, and the team that patiently develops his skills can be rewarded in the future.

Calvin Wilson
School: North Alabama
Position: T
Bio: Former Southern Mississippi lineman awarded All-Conference honors at North Alabama as a senior, his only year with the program. Part-time starter as a junior as a sophomore at Southern Miss.
Positive: Massive blocker who has displayed dominant and athleticism throughout his college career. Sets with a wide base, works to stays square and gets his hands into defenders. Moves his feet well, displays adequate footwork off the edge and easily controls defenders once engaged at the point of attack. Jolts opponents with good hand punch and knocks them from their angle of attack on the blitz. Engulfs opponents or easily out positions them from the action with his wide body.
Negative: Lumbers about the field and really not light on his feet. Struggles to adjust. Overweight and poorly conditioned. Must improve his blocking balance.
Analysis: Wilson is a prospect who has flashed a lot of ability since his sophomore season at Southern Mississippi. He never took his game to the next level and issues with his weight have always been a problem. Possesses the natural size, strength, and athleticism to play at the next level, yet unless he dedicates himself to off-the-field conditioning, he's unlikely to make it out of camp this summer.

Positive: Massive offensive lineman who plays a finesse game. Works to bend his knees, block with leverage, and stays square. Displays the ability to adjust, shows good hand punch, and keeps defenders in front of him. Easily controls opponents once engaged at the point of attack.
Negative: Over-extends, lacks balance and lateral blocking range. Lumbers about the field and does not move well on his feet. Does too much leaning on opponents and walked back into the quarterback.
Analysis: Young has been durable on the college level and has the measurables to play at the next level yet has never displayed himself to be the nasty, dominant lineman many thought he could be. He offers possibilities on the strong side yet must improve his run blocking strength and playing balance.
