Kendell Davis-Clark

School: Michigan State
Position: S
Bio: Part-time starter at both cornerback and safety the past two seasons after playing 11 games with the first team as a sophomore at cornerback. Senior totals included 26 tackles after 27/1/3 as a junior. Career numbers of 72 tackles came during a sophomore season.
Positive: Versatile defensive back with solid size. Aggressive, quick reading the action, and displays a burst of speed. Quick up the field, moves well to the sidelines, and has a nice break to the ball. Aggressive in all aspects of the game and forcefully makes his way through blocks to the ball-carrier.
Negative: Struggles in man coverage situations and does too much face-guarding. Not a sure handed wrap-up tackler.
Analysis: Davis-Clark has been an adequate college defensive back who is most effective facing the action. He offers possibilities as a backup in a zone system at the next level.
