LeGarrette Blount

School: Oregon
Position: RB
Bio: Junior college transfer who totaled 22/82/2 as a senior after being suspended for 10 games due to his actions on the field against Boise State in early September. Junior totals included 137/1002/17 on the ground.
Positive: Large, lumbering runner best between tackle. Powerful, rarely brought down by the first defender and breaks several tackles on his way picking up a lot of yardage off initial contact. Gets a lot of momentum going up the field and tough to stop. Gives effort as a blocker. Better-than-average running vision.
Negative: Shows minimal quickness, speed, and burst to his game. Cannot turn the corner. Has had anger management issues in his past.
Analysis: Blount is a solid prospect who could be used as a second back in a power running offense. Seemingly has gotten life back in order and could have a career at the next level if he remains focused on football.
