Jake Sharp

School: Kansas
Position: RB
Bio: Two-year starter who also shared the featured role as a sophomore. Struggled with a leg injury as a senior and finished the year with 102/429/4 on the ground with 34/266/3 catching the ball. Career numbers of 186/860/12 on the ground and came as a junior.
Positive: Small yet explosive ball-carrier also effective as a receiver out of the backfield. Runs with terrific quickness, has a burst and keeps his feet moving on contact. Runs hard on the inside, displays some elusiveness and the ability to make defenders miss. Solid hand catcher who easily adjusts to the errant throw and shows good focus.
Negative: Not a strong back and easily brought down at the point of attack by a single blocker. Lacks classic running back measurables.
Analysis: Sharp was a solid all-around skill player at Kansas and could make it at the next level as a situational ball-carrier if he produces on special teams.
