Marlon Williams

School: Texas Tech
Position: OLB
Bio: Three-year starter with senior totals of 73/8.5/3.5 after 65/3/2 as a junior.
Positive: Undersized yet fierce linebacker who makes plays sideline-to-sideline. Nifty, breaks down well and covers a lot of area on the field. Displays good footwork moving in reverse, remains disciplined with assignments and gives effort. Slides down the line to make plays, shows good head for the ball and wraps up tackling. Can run with tight ends in coverage and plays faster than his 40 time.
Negative: Easily blocked from the action or gets caught up in the traffic. Has not been very productive in coverage the past four seasons.
Analysis: Williams has the makings of a potential backup linebacker and should be very productive on special teams. His poor measurables will keep him from being selected in the draft
