Keaton Kristick

School: Oregon State
Position: OLB
Bio: Two-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior after leading the team in tackles posting 95/7.5/1. Junior totals included a 4/14/3.5.
Positive: Relatively athletic weak-side linebacker coming off a disappointing season. Gets depth on pass drops, plays sideline to sideline, and covers a lot of area on the field. Fast in every direction, aggressive, and goes after the ball-carrier. Sells out on the blitz, flies around the field, working to make plays, and does an above-average job diagnosing the action.
Negative: Undersized and easily blocked from the action. Did too much play-chasing rather than play-making as a senior. Does not always play with great control and takes himself from the action.
Analysis: Kristick possesses the skills and athleticism to back up on the weak side at the next level. Must get his game back on track, as expectations were high after his junior season. Possesses a special teams mentality, which should help to make it.
