Dustin Doe

School: Florida
Position: OLB
Bio: Part-time starter at the past two seasons totaling 51/1.5/1 as a senior after 30 tackles during his junior campaign. Posted a career-high 85 tackles as a sophomore when he started the entire year.
Positive: Athletic linebacker built for a one gap system. Fluid moving laterally, fast collapsing from the outside and shows the ability to cut corners off from running backs. Covers a lot of area on the field, plays with a good degree of quickness and shows skill in coverage. Can run downfield with tight ends and effectively positions himself to make a play on the ball. Slips past blocks to get to the action. Effective in pursuit.
Negative: Bites on play-action passes and gets caught up the field and out of position. Easily blocked from plays and gets lost in the traffic.
Analysis: Doe has displayed the athletic ability and football skills to play at the next level, yet he struggled seeing playing time at Florida due to the quantity of talent at the linebacker position. Potential eight linebacker/special teams player.
