Adrian Martinez

School: Colorado State
Position: G
Bio: Four-year starter used at both guard and right tackle.
Positive: Strong, small-area blocker who plays with a nasty attitude. Quickly gets his hands into defenders, strong in his upper body, and turns opponents from the action. Uses good body positioning to seal defenders from plays. Keeps his head on a swivel, shows good awareness, and is always looking for someone to hit. Blocks down well on opponents. Really goes after blocks and attacks assignments.
Negative: Lacks flexibility, not a natural knee bender, and struggles to finish blocks. Ineffective in space and only good in confined quarters.
Analysis: Martinez is a solid straight ahead blocker who plays bigger than his listed size. His versatility to be used at several positions will give him a chance as an inexpensive utility lineman for an NFL team.
