Walter McFadden

School: Auburn
Position: CB
Bio: Two-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior after totaling 37/4/8. Junior totals included 29/2/8.
Positive: Smallish cornerback whose game is on the rise. Fluid flipping his hips transitioning off the line with opponents, displays top end speed, with the ability to stay downfield. Plays heads-up football. Has a nice move to the throw, excellent hands for the interception, and quickly comes up the field in run defense. Effectively reads receivers
Negative: Lacks natural size and at times is overmatched. Not a strong tackler.
Analysis: McFadden is a prospect who's showed significant improvement the past two years and is a natural cornerback who lacks the size to be a starter at the next level. He possesses all the makings to be a productive nickel/dime back and enough skill to play in a variety of systems.
