Myron Lewis

School: Vanderbilt
Position: CB
Bio: Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior after totals of 41/4/8. Junior totals included 76 tackles and five interceptions.
Positive: Adequately sized defensive back who can be used at safety or cornerback. Engages opponents at the line of scrimmage, displays good footwork in every direction, and effectively diagnoses plays. Quick up the field in run defense. Effectively reads receivers eyes and then gets his head back around and locates the pass in the air.
Negative: Lacks top-end speed. Struggles following receivers out of their breaks, and does not display a sense of timing. Does not always take proper angles and over-pursues the action.
Analysis: Lewis is a physically gifted prospect with solid size. He possesses a nice game and offers upside and offers a degree of upside. Lewis should be able to be used as a dime back and on special teams during his rookie season.
