An interesting game with limited next level potential.  Middle Tennessee makes a bowl appearance after its first season in Conference USA.  Navy, one of the best coached teams in the nation, consistently finds a way to play winning football.

Kevin Byard/S/MTSU: Byard is a stoutly built red-shirt sophomore developing a terrific game at the safety position.  He’s a physical run defender (92 tkls) with solid ball skills (5 ints/5 PBU’s).  For the most part Byard plays smart football and comes with a decent upside.  He has a bright future ahead of him if he continues to progress on the field.  Free Agent

Logan Kilgore/QB/MTSU: Scouts graded Kilgore as the top senior prospect on the MTSU roster and stamped him as a priority free agent.  Poorly sized for the next level, he’s a short yardage passer who throws too many interceptions and lacks great upside for the next level.  Free Agent

Ken Gilstrap/CB/MTSU: Gilstrap is another with poor measurables but a productive college player who plays assignment football.  His best and possibly only opportunity in the NFL is as a dime back/special teams player.  Free Agent
