The offensive tackle class has the potential to be special next May.  The position features nearly a handful of potentially dominant prospects at the top of the board as well as good depth through the third round.  If the top underclassmen enter the draft as expected day one starters as well as future front line tackles will be available through the third round.

# NameSchoolYearRound
1Jake Matthews Texas A&M 4Sr 1st
Terrific tackle prospect with a versatile game.  Possesses the size and strength necessary to run block at right tackle as well as the footwork and mobility needed in pass protection on the left side.  Better prospect than former teammate Luke Joeckel, the second selection of the 2013 NFL draft.
2Taylor Lewan Michigan 5Sr 1st
Consistent tackle with tremendous size and skill.  Can be overwhelming at the point of attack and easily smothers opponents run blocking.  Lacks great footwork and agility in pass protection yet does enough to block the edge on the blind side.
3Cyrus Kouandjio Alabama 3Jr 1st
Potentially dominant prospect mired in a disappointing campaign.  Large, possesses a thick build and for the most part, blocks with solid fundamentals.  Has shown himself to be an outstanding pass protector and dominant run blocker yet out of sorts this season.  Play has lacked balance and consistency in 2013.
4Antonio Richardson Tennessee 3Jr 1-2
Developing tackle with great upside.  Large, strong yet also mobile.  Effective on the line of scrimmage as well as blocking in motion.  Has the tools to be a dominant left tackle but must step up his consistency.
5Cameron Erving Florida State 4Jr 1-2
Athletic tackle prospect with terrific size whose game is on the rise.  Moves well on his feet, strong at the point and flashes dominance.  Playing lacks balance and can be all over the place.  Must also improve his blocking fundamentals but still learning the position after moving from the defensive line in 2012.
6Cedric Ogbuehi Texas A&M 4Jr 1-2
Athletic tackle prospect with a terrific upside.  Strong run blocker and possesses the footwork and agility to slide in pass protection.  Lacks classic size but has shown weekly improvement in 2013.
7Cameron Fleming Stanford 4Jr 2nd
Underrated tackle prospect with potential on the left or right side.  Athletic, effective blocking in motion or sliding out in pass protection.  Strong and holds his own run blocking.
8Corey Robinson South Carolina 4Jr 2nd
Terrific left tackle prospect still developing at the position since moving from the defensive line.  Large, moves well and blocks with terrific fundamentals.  Comes with a huge upside.
9Greg Robinson Auburn 3So 2nd
Red-shirt sophomore with a developing game and a prospect with huge upside.  Possesses a terrific combination of size, strength and athleticism.  Has shown weekly progress on the field in 2013.
10Brandon Scherff Iowa 4Jr 2-3
The next big time line prospect from Iowa.  Terrific pass blocking left tackle that get overlooked due to the headlining names in the Big Ten.
11James Hurst North Carolina 4Sr3rd
Tough, smart offensive tackle who gets the most from his ability.  Not the prettiest or most athletic but consistently gets the job done.  Lacks great upside yet at the same time comes with minimal downside risk.
12Zack Martin Notre Dame 5Sr3rd
Solid pass blocking left tackle many project to guard.  Fundamentally sound and does the little things well.

Note: The following college tackles have been rated at offensive guard; La’el Collins/LSU, Billy Turner/North Dakota State, Charles Leno/Boise State, Joel Bitonio/Nevada, Brandon Thomas/Clemson, Michael Schofield/Michigan
