Al Golden has left for Coral Gables but the fruits of his labor remain.  Temple had players selected in the first and second frames last April.  They may be hard pressed to top that in 2012 yet they should easily have more players drafted next year in what could be a record draft for the program.

2nd Bernard Pierce RB 30 3Jr Instinctive, compact ball carrier that sees the field and consistently picks up positive yardage. Has the tools necessary to be a feature runner in the NFL. Reminds us of Emmitt Smith in style and substance.
4th Morkeith Brown DE 85 4Sr Terrific athlete that has switched between tight end and defensive end the past three seasons. Has good size, movement skills and strength. Rough around the edges do to his constant movement between both sides of the line of scrimmage but holds a large upside.
4th Evan Rodriquez TE 88 5Sr Dynamite tight end with less than desirable size/speed numbers. Terrific pass catcher anywhere on the field and also effective as a blocker.
5th Wayne Tribue G 69 4Sr Tough, nasty blocker that dominates opponents on the line yet is also effective in motion.
6-7 Adrian Robinson Jr OLB 43 4Sr Pass rushing defensive end that has the skills to stand up over tackle in a 3-4. Offers a large amount of potential yet must play to his level of ability every down.
FA Matt Balasavage TE 89 5Sr One-dimensional blocking tight end that stands out in his specialty.
FA Stephen Johnson OLB 53 5Sr College middle linebacker that possesses the physical skills to get looks on the weak side at the next level.
FA Chester Stewart QB 7 5Sr Owl back-up that showed flashes of skill previously as the starter. Has the physical skills to play in the NFL but must improve his reads and decision making.
FA James Nixon WR 23 4Sr Intriguing prospect with great speed. Has been switched between wide out and receiver yet his greatest value will be returning punts and kicks.
