The draft is nearly upon us! Three weeks remain for those who are suffering from off-season football withdrawal.
All Star games are long gone. The Combine just exited the rear-view mirror. And pro days are nearly complete. As a result, head scout Brent Sobleski changes gears and goes even deeper with a full five round mock draft.

Love it. Hopefully 2 new starters on the d-line for the Browns.
I like it, for the Giants.
I’d really like it if the third round went: Luke STocker
4th round: Darel Scott screams Giants to me at that point. They love those high potential player.

Nice draft, I don’t think Locker makes it past Minnesota in second round though, our need at QB is too big to pass on him and wait until the 5th round for Devlin. We need a potential franchise QB, not a 2-3 year project. We already have that with Joe Webb. Otherwise a very good mock.
Like it for the most part, as a Packers fan I can tell you we won’t be drafting a safety this year though, We have Nick Collins (Pro Bowler), Morgan Burnett (Traded up to draft in the 3rd round last year and was starting before he got hurt), Charlie Peprah who took over for Burnett and started all the way to the Super Bowl and finally the Packers will most likely move Woodson back to safety within a few years. The first three or four picks will almost certainly be in some order: LB, DE, OT, and possibly a DB or RB.
Minnesota and Arizona are interesting, at least to me. If they don’t find a way to get one of the “elite” quarterbacks, then why draft a QB just to draft a QB when both are ready to win now?
Locker is very talented, but he could easily be classified as a “2-3 year project”. That’s not what that team needs.
It would be sooooo much easier if the NFL had Free Agency and player movement, but they went and mucked it all up.
