Many more Senior Bowl invitations have been handed out and we have the latest names.  Also- a number of underclassmen are ready to enter the draft or at the very least are exploring their next level potential.  We have the most recent names.

- Sources have told us that Oregon State running back Jacquizz Rodgers will enter April’s draft.  The tiny back totaled 1184 rushing yards, 14 rushing scores and 44 receptions, all lower than his sophomore totals of 2009.

- USC offensive tackle Tyron Smith is well underway in the process of making his decision on whether or not to declare for April’s draft.  We hear Smith, a third year junior, was quick out of the gate once the December 1st date came, and started talking with potential representation immediately.

- We are hearing Ohio State center Mike Brewster will explore entering the NFL draft.  So to will former Florida State receiver Jarmon Fortson, who played at North Alabama this season after being dismissed from the ‘Noles program.

- Senior Bowl invitations are coming in fast and furious.  Here’s some of the newer additions given to us:

QB: Jake Locker/Washington, Christian Ponder/Florida State, Colin Kaepernick/Nevada, Greg McElroy/Alabama, Ricky Stanzi/Iowa, Andy Dalton/TCU.  We mentioned Pat Devlin of Delaware in last week’s podcast.  Our understanding is if any invited signal caller does not show up he’s the next in line.  Ponder is the one to keep an eye on, considering his injuries.

DL: Cameron Jordan/DL, Cameron Heyward/Ohio State, Adrian Clayborn/Iowa, Ryan Kerrigan/Purdue, Pernell McPhee/Miss State, Jeremy Beal/Oklahoma, Christian Ballard/Iowa, Stephen Paea/Oregon State, Jarvis Jenkins/Clemson, Drake Nevis/LSU, Sione Fua/Stanford, Phil Taylor/Baylor.  We previously reported Nevada’s Dontay Moch as likely to receive and invitation but that’s not been confirmed.  We are hearing Chris Neild of West Virginia is close to getting an invitation.  No word yet on Marvin Austin, though the belief is he will ultimately get an invitation.

LB: Von Miller/Texas A&M, Mason Foster/Washington, Greg Jones/Michigan State, Casey Matthews/Oregon.

DB: Prince Amukamara/Nebraska, Davon House/New Mexico State, Jimmy Smith/Colorado, Jalil Brown/Colorado, Johnny Patrick/Louisville, Shareece Wright/USC, Curtis Brown/Texas, Marcus Gilchrist/Clemson, DeAndre McDaniel/Clemson, Ahmad Black/Florida, Quinton Carter/Oklahoma. Word is Brandon Hogan will also likely receive an invitation.
